  • Overview

    Responsible for coordinating all tasks for international assignments by providing high level of support and service in administering relocation, assignment and immigration processes and directing third party service providers.

    Responsible in building strong partnership with the stakeholders by liaising with all parties to ensure the effective implementation of mobility operations.

    Back up to Global Mobility Manager (EMEA-based)

    Responsibilities

    Primary Global Mobility point of contact for APAC
    Own and manage the global business traveller letter process
    Manage the requisition-to-payment process for Global Mobility cases / vendors
    Contribute to visa and relocation cases, keeping these moving through the SW global channels of approval, preparation and timely submission
    Gatekeeper for internal transfer SARFs, providing data / details to HR Ops
    Maintain employee files / records and manage uploads of documents

    Supports, implements and monitors global mobility programs such as expat assignment, global/local moves and cross-border permanent/short-term transfers.

    Develops, reviews, monitors and updates user guides, documentation, policies, guidelines and procedures on Global Mobility to ensure competitiveness and consistency with the mobility trends and aligned with the corporate objectives.

    Conducts orientation on policies and procedures related to Global mobility, international assignment agreements, immigration, visas, allowances, premiums, tax requirements and all other issues/concerns that may arise before, during and after the international assignment regardless whether it is permanent or short-term transfer.

    Provides insights on expatriate issues on immigration, foreign tax compliance and processes, payroll, benefits, expense-processing, post-assignment activities and other related policies and programs identified between home and host country.
    Collaborates with Legal, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, HR Operations, and HR Business Partners of new assignments, expatriations and repatriations activities.
    Resolves issues affecting Expatriates or their assignments including assignment extensions and repatriation.
    Provides standard reports for ongoing business needs such as Expatriates movements, mobility program costs, case resolutions, and other items that require further discussion with other stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 10 years experience working with HR.
    Minimum of 5 years experience with Global Mobility.
    Minimum of 3 years experience with HRIS
    Knowledge in intermediate MS Excel is a plus
    International experience, living / working abroad
    Experience with end-to-end cross-border movement of employees
    Proficiency with HR and finance systems
    Great eye for detail and ability to deliver accurate, timely outputs

     

    Preferences:

    Strong understanding of Global Mobility processes and procedures.
    Working knowledge on international policies on expatriation, repatriation, tax requirements, labor standards and regulations, visas, immigration standards, and other matters related to Global Mobility.
    Experience in information systems.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills for presentation and delivery and daily interactions with the employees and stakeholders.
    Strong analytical and listening skills required to understand, review, analyze and recommend changes to existing processes.
    Ability to understand complex processes and simplify/streamline processes.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required to ensure data integrity, manage multiple and competing deadlines and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
    Ability to think creatively to resolve challenges and develop solutions.
    Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and develop working relationships with HR staff, staff from other SolarWinds divisions as well as vendors.
    Ability to lead and develop effective training and evaluation sessions for all levels of users
