    SolarWinds Singapore, is growing and we are looking for a Channel Account Manager for Korea who will team with us to deliver the products that has made SolarWinds successful. 


    Working from our Singapore office you will be motivated, driven and have a zest for sales. You will be responsible for managing, deriving and converting leads into closed sales from your set geography with an attitude to over-achieve targets. You will also partner with Sales Engineering and Channel Partners to conduct web product demonstrations (online / onsite).

    • Achieve and exceed the SolarWinds sales revenue goal in assigned target Installed Base accounts
    • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to translate Installed Base 'Farming/Expansion' strategy into effective sales actions, maximizing profitable revenue across all SolarWinds products and solutions in assigned accounts
    • Partner with the IT decision makers within the assigned customers to qualify, establish, present & secure broad SolarWinds solutions that include cross-selling across multiple IT disciplines
    • Identify cross-sell solutions and point to incremental opportunities within each assigned account, mobilizing marketing, technical & sales resources to bring SolarWinds expertise in (where & when required) to win the business
    • Develop a Monthly & Quarterly sales plan as well as a Reseller mapping plan in support of organizational goals and objectives
    • Leverage Salesforce.com to present pipeline reports showing secured sales, potential sales, and sales opportunity areas implementing the use of strategic sales analytics in assigned accounts
    • Build relationships with other SolarWinds divisions and conduct regular reviews and updates required to maximize revenue in assigned accounts

     Job Brief:

    • Contact Installed Base customers via 'Warm Calls', to build, support and manage incremental sales within the assigned Target/Named Accounts
    • Work directly with customer end-users as well as with Channels, Partner Relationship Manager(s) and our marketing team on a regular basis to achieve & sustain monthly & quarterly sales targets
    • Support the deployment of marketing programs directed at attracting and/or sustaining qualified Installed Base accounts, following up on 'Warm Leads', providing product demo's where requested
    • Key strength is the ability to articulate company’s product strategic and technical benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings; cross-sell & up-sell (where possible)
    • Partner with Sales Engineering to conduct online web-based product demonstrations that are both technical and non-technical
    • Day-to-day product & pricing support, providing quotations in line with approved price lists
    • Ensure Salesforce-based Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly forecast accuracy, Pipeline Development, Deal Closure and Customer Satisfaction
    • Maintain velocity & momentum
    • Ability to build & present executive-level presentations & deliver them in person or via web-meetings
    • Report on market and competitor activity


    • Speaks fluent English and Korean
    • Successful track record (2-3 years min.) of exceeding bookings and quota
    • Strong phone presence, listening skills & familiarity in dialling multiple calls per day
    • Proficient with Corporate productivity & Web-presentation tools
    • Self-starter with the flexibility to lead, manage or contribute to changing market and sales needs with tactics that respond well to end-user customer needs
    • Excellent planning, organization & communication skills with a customer focus in driving sales through various channels (direct & indirect)
    • Occasional travel to present in person to prospects & customers


    • Successful track record in Inside Sales (preferably 2-3 years in Enterprise sales)
    • Experience in 'Fortune-based' relationship-based account management & working with resellers
    • History of building end-user/strategic account relationships and managing complex deals in Korea market
    • Previous experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tool(s)
