    Preferred Experience

    The LMS Administrator is the primary owner of the company’s Learning Management Systems, responsible for the overall health and optimization of the systems used by multiple learning teams for both internal and external learners.  In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for the technical management of the LMS, working directly with the LMS vendor, responsible for system upgrades, maintenance, enhancement and troubleshooting; ongoing training and support for end users, content publication, and reporting. This role will work with the various stakeholders to make sure the system requirements are reviewed and implemented with the technical parameters. This role will report to the manager of HR technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee administration and operations of learning management system including, system configuration, coordination with the LMS vendor as needed, user administration, process improvement / automation, access controls, issue and escalation management, and system training.
    • Consult and partner with learning management system users to understand needs and requirements, and translate them into recommendations for the best user experience
    • Collaborate with multiple learning leaders to assess needs, streamline manual processes by automating them, ensure system is optimized, accurate reports are generated, and features/functions are utilized
    • Act as the liaison with any development teams that need to access and pull data from the LMS system for special projects.
    • Tests all changes to the LMS and ensures accurate audience assignment and assessment scoring
    • Manage multiple domains for internal and external learning audiences, as well as administering multiple system domains serving diverse learning groups, while working with the stakeholders to help them optimize the learner experience.
    • Lead the sunsetting and implementation of learning management systems as needed, including the migration of pathways, and supporting/training the team to load materials and data across multiple learning teams
    • Partner with IT, HRIS, and LMS vendor as needed to support system integration and technical aspects of platform
    • Document system functionality via job aids, videos, or other training modalities
    • Determine process/automation improvement opportunities
    • Train new LMS users on the basic use of the system’s self-serve functionalities as needed
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS and 3rd party content vendors
    • Train the various teams on how to upload and maintain learning management system self-directed content including eLearning courses, videos, documents, etc.
    • Respond to learning management system questions from end users and other system administrators in a timely fashion
    • Work with the stakeholder groups and train as needed on how to create, upload, maintain, and report on system data including: enrollment, attendance, tests, surveys, etc.
    • Recommend content policies and best practices
    • Implement new learning technology as assigned, and ensure it fits within our learning ecosystem
    • Ensure governance of system and updates to support the business needs and remain compliant
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Capabilities

    • LMS system administration; Saba cloud and Litmos preferred
    • HTML, C++, Javascript or other programming language
    • MS Office Suite
    • SharePoint, intermediate level
    • Virtual meeting software (e.g. WebEx)

     

    Qualifications and Experience

    • College degree in computer science or database administration or equivalent experience
    • Technical skillset and experience
    • Database administration, management, and analysis
    • 3-5 years of HR system administration experience
    • 1-3 years supporting a training organization
    • 1-3 years of learning management system administration

     

    NOTE: This role is based in our office in Manila, Philippines and requires daily, onsite presence.
